The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Tuesday's Best CFB Bets

Temple at Miami-OH (+6.5,44)

A spot in the MAC Championship Game might be up in the air for the Miami Redhawks on Tuesday night’s standalone NCAA football betting affair, but they are going to be up against it as hefty underdogs at home against the Temple Owls.

The Owls lost their chance to win the MAC East last Tuesday night, as they were defeated by the Ohio Bobcats, who are the team the control their own destiny. Temple has had a great year from its defense, but that unit really didn’t fill the bill last week, allowing 31 points in what amounted to be the second worst affair of the campaign. Still, this is a unit that is only allowing 309.5 yards and 18.7 points per game, both numbers of which are the best in the MAC. Offensively, things were made worse by the fact that RB Bernard Pierce was knocked out of the lineup after one play last week, while his backup, RB Matt Brown, was held in check. The two are going to combine for well over 1,750 yards this season in all likelihood, as they are already near 1,500. Junior QB Mike Gerardi had his second straight 300+ yard passing performance last week, as he threw for 311 yards and two scores. However, he was picked off twice, and the 23 points that he was able to put on the board just wasn’t good enough. On the season, Gerardi has completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 1,182 yards with ten TDs and six INTs.

If the Redhawks don’t find a way to pull out a victory in this one, they’ll be in some trouble for a bowl game this year. They aren’t likely to be amongst the first four choices in the MAC, especially after a 1-11 season, and they will require an at large bid to a bowl just to extend their season. As if going against this defense wasn’t bad enough, taking it on without the heart and soul of the team, QB Zac Dysert is going to be all the more difficult. Dysert was on pace for a 3,000 yard season before going down with a lacerated spleen two weeks ago in a win against the Bowling Green Falcons. Last week, a 19-14 win against the Akron Zips was certainly nothing to be proud of. QB Austin Boucher played relatively well, completing 22-of-32 passing for 213 yards, but most importantly, he didn’t turn the pigskin over. Miami only went 3-of-14 on third downs though and had just 398 yards of offense against one of the most dreadful defenses in the nation. If all of this doesn’t improve, there doesn’t seem to be much hope to win an eighth game.

The Redhawks have all to play for in this game, and though Temple has been as hot as could be, it might be a bit deflated after losing a chance to win the MAC. We’ll back the hosts in a good spot in a nationally televised game, catching nearly a full TD as well.

Pick: Miami-OH Redhawks +6.5

PICK 'N' ROLL

Tuesday's Best NBA Bets

Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers (-9, 203)

With the Lakers rolling along again early this year, the Chicago Bulls were likely to have their hands full anyway on Tuesday. To make matters worse, Chicago power forward Taj Gibson is hurting with a pinched nerve in his right foot and could leave the Bulls shorthanded against Los Angeles’ bigs.

Gibson sat out Monday’s practice and will be evaluated again Tuesday before the game. He was a huge part in Chicago’s 88-83 win at Dallas, contributing 17 points and 18 rebounds.

"It's real sore," Gibson told the Chicago Tribune. "I don't know if I'll be able to play Tuesday (against the Lakers), but at least we have two more days to let it heal."

If he can’t go, the Bulls are really going to have a tough time with Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom inside against a Lakers club that has won and covered four straight. They just pounded Golden State 117-89, allowing Phil Jackson to give his starters a lot of time on the bench during the second half.

Pick: LA Lakers

Detroit Pistons at Dallas Mavericks (-10, 191.5)

It’s pretty obvious this season that Rip Hamilton isn’t the prolific, slashing scorer that he once was. He has lost a step or two and isn’t the go-to guy on offense anymore. But that doesn’t mean he still can’t turn it on.

Hamilton buried 12 consecutive points to begin overtime in Sunday’s 115-110 victory over the Washington Wizards and finished with 27 points on the night.

"He started doing some things, and you can tell that a number of players had a difficult time guarding him," coach John Kuester told reporters after the game. "He started coming off, and he had the juice and he had it flowing. Rip Hamilton is in a category with Reggie Miller coming off screens. He had it going tonight."

Which is great, but the Pistons had better not get used to big games like that from Rip. He’s averaging 13.5 points per game this season, down from the 18.1 points he averaged last year. Meanwhile, Dallas just upset the Atlanta Hawks and should be a nice bet here as the Mavs head back home.

Pick: Dallas Mavericks

ICE PICKS

Tuesday's Best NHL Bets

Edmonton Oilers at Phoenix Coyotes (-215, 6)

At the beginning of the season the Coyotes struggled to put everything together. They’d normally get great goaltending from Ilya Bryzgalov, but the offense was inconsistent and the defense was leaving Bryz to fend for himself a lot of the time.

Not anymore. The Coyotes have reeled off six straight wins following a 4-5-5 start including an impressive 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks the last time they took the ice. Taylor Pyatt, who hadn’t scored a goal since the season-opener in Prague, buried a pair of goals against his former team.

“The one thing I like is we’ve got everybody contributing,” Phoenix coach Dave Tippett said. “Every night, it seems like there’s a different guy that steps up and plays well, or a different line. Our goaltending has been solid through it, but for the most part it’s been a solid team effort.”

Not so much for the Edmonton Oilers. They picked up a 4-2 win over the slumping Anaheim Ducks on Sunday, but had lost six straight before that while giving up at least four goals in all six games.

Looks like another tough night for the young Oilers against a Phoenix club that’s coming together, but this price is pretty steep so we'll stick with the under.

Pick: Under

Bettors' Best Friend (BFF): Tuesday's Wagering Tips

Weather To Watch

Temple at Miami (Ohio) - 30 percent chance of showers with 13 mph winds.

Who’s Hot

Temple Owls are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games.

Phoenix Coyotes have won six straight games.

Cleveland Cavaliers are covered in 11 of their last 16 matchups with Indiana.

New York Knicks have covered the number in four straight.

Los Angeles Lakers have won and covered in four consecutive games.

Who’s Not

North Carolina Tar Heels have dropped their last two games straight up and against the spread.

Florida Gators are 0-3 against the spread this season.

Atlanta Hawks have dropped four of their last five against the spread.

Key Stat

5-0 – Miami (Ohio) RedHawks’ straight up record in games decided by seven or fewer points. The RedHawks are set as 6.5-point underdogs against Temple.

Injury That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked

John Wall (ankle) Washington Wizards – Wall practiced Monday, but he wasn’t feeling great later and said that his foot was still sore. He’s considered a game-time decision for Tuesday’s matchup against Philadelphia. Wall is averaging 18.1 points and 9.8 assists and 3.3 steals.

Game Of The Day

Temple at Miami (Ohio) (6.5, N/A)

Notable Quotable

“We didn't really play nobody yet. But we are a good team. We won three in a row on the road, but I just don't know. I'm still upset about the other two losses that we got, because it was a carryover from the sloppy games [against the Raptors]. We know that as a team. We know that we cannot slip. We know that we have to play hard every game. And everybody is doing that." – Ron Artest after Los Angeles’ 117-89 blowout of the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers are up against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.

Notes And Tips

Word has it the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to shake up their starting lineup heading into Tuesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers. FOXSports.com’s Sam Amico suggests Joey Graham, or possibly Antawn Jamison could slide into the starting five, sending Joey Graham to the bench.

It looks like Philadelphia 76ers swingman Andre Iguodala (Achilles) will be ready to go for Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards. Iguodala practiced on Sunday and says he’s still experiencing pain when he lands on the injured foot, but wants to play through it.

Miami (Ohio) coach Mike Haywood says his receivers are still getting used to lefty quarterback Austin Boucher after starter Zac Dysert. The freshman doesn’t have as much zip on his throws and his short efforts come in with the nose down. Plus, he’s a lefty. Dysert threw for 213 yards last week in a 19-14 win at Akron.
